The Death is considered in the most of this countries like a continuation of the life in other world or the communication between alive and dead person.

The Latin american nations workship their dead families with funeral rites according with their culture and traditions. The Novenario prayer is characteristic, independently of their social status and religion.

It is tradicional the celebration of the Day of the Dead, the 1er or 2nd day of November.

It is a celebration which represents a festival full of colours and happy motives which do a mention of death. The people takes advantage of the chance of meeting in spiritual form with their ancestors and celebrate the life.

The celebration of this day come from natives cultures like Aztec, Maya, Purepechas, Nahuas or Totonacas. During 3000 years, they made rituals in honour of their ancestors, which symbolize the death and the rebirth.

​

The Spanish conquistadors changed the date of this celebration for being at the same time of the catholic celebration of All Saints’ Day.
